The Victoria Gardens family is proud to announce the news that Museum London (Ontario), has approved Orlando “Joey” Hollingsworth’s donation of his “tap shoes” and “tuxedo” into their permanent collection of cultural acquisitions.
According to Joey, the white tuxedo was purchased at Tip Top Tailors. The taps were purchased at Johnny Browns and were added to a pair of Clark’s shoes which were all bought in Toronto many, many, years ago! With a bit of a smile, he also shared that the Clark’s shoes were bought at a local thrift store!
Museum London has thanked Joey for his generous gift which will be a wonderful addition to their collection.
Joey wore the white tuxedo on May 6, 2023 as we celebrated the coronation of King Charles.
