On May 29th, we gathered to celebrate a milestone that’s close to our hearts—50 years of being a family-run long-term care home. What began as a small, heartfelt mission to serve our community with compassion has grown into five decades of dedicated care, connection, and continuity across generations.
The event was a joyful reflection of everything that makes our home so special. Families, residents, staff, and longtime community partners came together for an afternoon filled with memories, laughter, and gratitude. There was music, delicious food, and even a few happy tears as we looked back on the journey that brought us here.
We were especially moved as we paid tribute to the original owners, whose vision and commitment laid the foundation for everything we do today. Although they have since passed, their legacy lives on through their two children, who now lead the home with the same values of compassion, integrity, and family-centered care that their parents instilled from the beginning.
We are deeply grateful to our incredible staff—past and present—many of whom have been with us for over 20 years, and some even longer. Their unwavering dedication, compassion, and hard work are the heart of our home and the reason so many families have entrusted us with the care of their loved ones.
We’re also thankful for our many service partners, whose long-standing relationships with us have played a vital role in maintaining the high quality of care and support we offer every day. Their reliability and shared commitment to excellence have helped us remain true to our mission over the years.
A touching presentation during the event honored both the founding family and the dedicated individuals who continue to shape our home. Former staff and family members shared stories from the early days, reminding us how far we’ve come and how meaningful each chapter of our journey has been.
To everyone who helped make this celebration possible—and to all who have supported us over the years—thank you. Your trust, partnership, and belief in our values mean the world to us.
