Attending Physician

Residents may choose to use our in-house doctor who does in-person rounds once per week.

Residents are assigned an Attending Physician at the time of admission, based on the availability and workload of attending Physicians. Although it is not mandatory, we encourage residents to use the Physician provided by the Home to ensure good communication of health information, and to allow for on-site accessibility.

Our current Medical Director and primary house physician is Dr. C. Okorie. Dr. Okorie is available to staff 24/7 via phone, as well as does in-person rounds once per week. Residents may retain their own Family Physician from the community if the Physician is willing to comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC)

Medications and treatments are prescribed by the attending physician and administered by Registered Staff.
