Hamilton’s Around the Bay Road Race is the oldest on the continent, first run in 1894, three years before the Boston Marathon. Rich in tradition, it has been won by the best from around the world, including Boston Marathon winners and Olympic gold medalists. On March 26th, VG’s own Isabel, ran in the 5k race, raising over $750 in support of St. Joseph’s Healthcare. Isabel placed 103rd of 668 women running the 5k, and placed 4th out of 42 women in her age category. Isabel’s run time was 28.44 minutes.
We are very proud of Isabel for her accomplishment and time, and love that we can call her one of our shining stars at VG. As anyone visiting Victoria Gardens and screened by Isabel can attest to, she is a true ambassador to VG and loves the work she does here!
